Recipe – Green Rice

Here is a gluten free recipe your whole family will enjoy. Chances are you will have these ingredients on hand. So easy and appealing too.

Green Rice
½ c melted butter                               2 c milk
½ c chopped onion                             1 10 oz pkg frozen, chopped spinach
1 ½ c sharp cheddar cheese         1 c cooked rice
2 eggs, beaten                                       garlic salt

Mix ingredients, season with garlic salt, and bake one hour at 350 degrees.

  2. This green rice recipe easily feeds six, but somehow I ve been eating through each batch all on my own. I just sneak into the fridge, pull out a small bowlful, zap it, and have my green rice morning-afternoon-late-night-whenever snack.
